S. Watson Maher

AFI Cinematography alum from Texas, loving the west coast and my new writing/directing career. Of my films posted here: a western (my AFI grad project, 2003), and a horror short are favorite samples of my work as a Director/DP. After I made this western short A TWIST OF FAITH, a co-writer and I did a feature screenplay version (renamed BRAZEN) which won a national contest in 2005 [see project page]. It fueled my desire to combine screenwriting with cinematography and be a writer/director. I own 35mm, 16mm cameras, and an edit bay. I'm always jonesing for a risky new shoot. Let's get down in the trenches.
