Writer’s Boot Camp: (2006-2008) Premier screenwriting program with industry-wide notice, supported by AFI, recommended by studio writing sponsorship programs. Program focuses on creating narrative and commercially viable stories in fast-paced industry.

• 2006 Fox Diversity Project – Selected as a WBC Reader. August, 2006

Scriptshark 1st Prize Winner: (Nov 2005): ­ National screenplay contest. Feature screenplay BRAZEN, based on a short film written and directed by S. Watson Maher for AFI.  

VALHALLA FILMS – Internship:  (2004)  Reader: working directly with the story editor reading scripts for consideration and writing coverage. Also, general administrative duties.

American Film Institute - Cinematography Fellow: (2001 - 2003) Intensive study in the art of narrative storytelling and the moving image through Cinematography.  Specialized training: designing visual motifs for feature films, set operations, optics, set safety, shooting schedules, coordinating & securing equipment.

MGM Studios - Executive Assistant: (1999-2001) Assistant to Executive Producer of Interactive Gaming.  Responsibilities: dealing with game developers and production companies, administrative support.

20TH Century Fox Television – PR & Production Assistant (Dallas 1994) Responsibilities: Floor Directing, Camera Operating for local TV shows: Karen Denard Show, Monday Night Sports Live, Joe Bobb Briggs. Also writing press releases, coordinating publicity events, and other aspects of production.
